Draft Night Mode is where the Kingdom's 2027–28 draft will run on this page — the board, the clock and the picks, in this room. The 2027–28 draft is a startup redraft: no keepers carry over, so the order is not drawn from the 2026–27 finish — it is set by the model below, from the two things a startup order can honestly rest on: what each club's players are projected to be worth, and what they have actually done so far this season.
The formula (printed, so the order is auditable): Combined = Projection + 10 × Stats Points. Projection is the sum, over every player on the club's current roster (ESPN pull of Oct 30, 2026), of his value on the Yahoo Top 250 redraft board under the house model 1000 × 0.987(rank−1). A rostered player who is not on the Top 250 counts at the board's floor value — the rank-250 value, 38.46 — a stated convention, not a scouting claim. Stats Points: for each of the nine 2026–27 per-game leader boards (Basketball-Reference, as of 2026-10-26), a rostered player earns (11 − his rank) for a top-10 finish — 10 points for No. 1 down to 1 for No. 10; a player on no leader board earns 0, and no line is invented for him. Direction: the club with the weakest combined figure picks first and the strongest picks tenth — startup seeding by competitive balance, the weakest roster gets first crack at the class — and every later round snakes back from that order. Ties break on the lower projection total, then club name.

This is the desk's model order for a startup redraft, computed from the pulls named above. If the league office adopts a different order for the real draft night, this page will carry that order instead — the model never outranks the league.
The class board below is the Draft Desk's 2027 NBA big board (top 30 of 100), the same board behind the Drafts page — the pool the order above will pick from.
| Board # | Player | Pos | School | Desk note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Tyran Stokes | SF | Kansas | Consensus No. 1 recruit in the 2026 class (247Sports, Rivals, ESPN) who chose Kansas over Kentucky and Oregon; McDonald's All-American 2026, Jordan Brand Classic MVP, and Nike Hoop Summit selection (B/R). Gold medals with Team USA at the 2023 FIBA U16 Americas, 2024 U17 World Cup, and 2025 U19 World Cup; in EYBL play with the Oakland Soldiers he averaged 23.5 pts/11.1 reb/3.9 ast/1.9 stl on 50.7% FG and 42.4% 3PT over 9 games, with 22.2/10.4/3.2 at Peach Jam and a career-high 63 points (B/R). Prepped at Prolific Prep, Notre Dame HS, and Rainier Beach (Louisville native); signed a multi-year Nike NIL deal (base). His game is elite power athleticism, three-level scoring upside, and point-forward ball-handling; the swing skills are shooting consistency and decision-making, and scouts are still debating his ideal role — point-wing vs. forward — with maturity flagged as a watch item (B/R, SI). |
| 2 | Jordan Smith Jr. | PG/SG | Arkansas | Consensus National High School Player of the Year for 2026 (Gatorade, MaxPreps, Naismith, Sporting News, USA Today) and a top-3 recruit (247Sports No. 2, ESPN No. 2, On3 No. 2; 247Sports Composite No. 3 at 0.9991 — the second-highest-rated Arkansas commit of the modern era) (Wikipedia, On3). Fairfax, Virginia native out of Paul VI Catholic; elite downhill burst and rim pressure with pull-up shooting and two-way toughness, plus a reported 6'8.5" wingspan (SI, 247Sports/Yahoo). Team Takeover EYBL: 19.3 pts/7.8 reb/3.7 ast/2.4 stl; gold with Team USA at the 2024 U17 World Cup and Defensive MVP at the 2025 U19 World Cup (Wikipedia). He studies Anthony Edwards, Jrue Holiday, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander; NBA Draft Room's sourced comps are Eric Bledsoe+ and Donovan Mitchell. |
| 3 | Caleb Holt | SG | Arizona | Ranked No. 4 overall and the No. 1 SG by 247Sports; a McDonald's All-American co-MVP who picked Arizona over Houston, Alabama, and Kentucky (247Sports, SI). Prep: 21.0 pts/9.0 reb/4.0 ast; Adidas 3SSB: 19.0/7.0/3.0 on 51% shooting; 24 pts, 8 reb, and 7 steals at the 2026 Nike Hoop Summit (Fadeaway World, Yardbarker). A two-way wing with speed, slashing, defensive instincts, and rebounding; the swing skill is developing into a primary creator (SI, NBA Draft Junkies). |
| 4 | Stefan Joksimovic | SG/F | Baskonia (Slovenia) | Slovenian lefty jumbo playmaker and the top international prospect on the board; won Adidas Eurocamp MVP, then led Slovenia to gold at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket as tournament MVP (23.1 pts/6.7 reb/3.7 ast), and scored 22 for Slovenia's senior team in a World Cup qualifier (ESPN, SI, RealGM). His calling cards are positional size, pick-and-roll playmaking, and smooth shot-making; the development areas are shooting/finishing consistency, and his Baskonia role was limited early in the season (SI, NBAbigboard). A legitimate No. 1-pick contender if the jumper firms up. |
| 5 | Anthony Thompson | SF | Ohio State | Left-handed five-star wing ranked No. 7–8 in the 247Sports Composite (Rivals No. 5, ESPN No. 13 — rankings vary by service), the No. 2 SF, and the highest-rated Ohio State recruit since Jared Sullinger in 2010; chose OSU over Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, and others (247Sports, Eleven Warriors). Adidas 3SSB: 22.0 ppg on 53% FG, 39% 3PT, 88% FT with 1.9 blk and 1.6 stl; Western Reserve Academy senior year 24.9/7.9/2.3 on 47%/35%; coach Matt Garvey calls him "arguably the best shooter in the 2026 class" (247Sports/Adam Finkelstein via B/R, Eleven Warriors). McDonald's All-American and Naismith Third Team All-American; elite shot-making with defensive playmaking upside (SI, allsportsreports). |
| 6 | Braylon Mullins | SG | UConn | The headliner of the class's returnee group; as a UConn freshman averaged 12.0 pts/3.5 reb/1.4 ast, shooting 34% from three on huge volume, capped by a buzzer-beating 35-footer to beat Duke in the Elite Eight (Babcock Hoops, SI, Sporting News). Indiana Mr. Basketball; 32.9 ppg on 47% 3PT as a HS senior; rated No. 12 overall and the No. 2 SG in the 2025 class (Yardbarker, SI). Strengths are three-level shooting, off-ball scoring, and feel; Year 2 keys are added functional strength and more on-ball creation (SI, europesays). Sourced comps from NBA Draft Room: Buddy Hield+, Kevin Huerter, Klay Thompson. |
| 7 | Patrick Ngongba II | C | Duke | Returning junior who broke out as a sophomore: 10.1 pts/5.8 reb/2.0 ast/1.1 blk in 21.9 mpg on 60.6% shooting; an efficient play-finisher with rare passing feel for a big, plus solid rebounding and paint protection (SI, 247Sports, Babcock Hoops). The questions are perimeter mobility and floor-spacing; ranked No. 3 on Evan Miyakawa's preseason top-30 for 2026-27, and he returned to Duke after testing the 2026 draft process (SI). A safe-floor, scheme-specific anchor. |
| 8 | Bruce Branch III | SF | BYU | Reclassified from the 2027 class (where he began as the No. 1 recruit) to 2026, finishing No. 6–8 overall and the No. 2 SF; chose BYU over USC as the Cougars' next one-and-done wing after AJ Dybantsa (Wikipedia, B/R). Adidas 3SSB: 15.9 pts/5.2 reb/2.0 ast/1.3 blk; McDonald's All-American; Adidas Eurocamp Rising Star (B/R, Wikipedia). Fluid three-point shooter with a 7'2" wingspan, three-level scoring upside, and defensive potential; must fill out his frame and show more on-ball creation (SI, red94). |
| 9 | Motiejus Krivas | C | Arizona | Lithuanian senior who returned after testing the 2026 draft; First Team All-Big 12 and Big 12 All-Defensive, averaging 10.4 pts/8.2 reb (3.1 offensive)/1.9 blk as a junior, with opponents posting the country's lowest FG% with him on the floor (Babcock Hoops, SI, Heavy). Elite drop-coverage rim protector, rebounder, and screener with soft touch; not a spacer (13 three-point attempts all season) and scheme-dependent on the perimeter (The Ringer, SI). ESPN's Jeremy Woo: "on the short list of most impactful defenders in college basketball." Sourced comp from NBA Draft Room: Mason Plumlee+. |
| 10 | Baba Oladotun | SF | Maryland | Reclassified from 2027 (where he was the consensus No. 1 recruit) to 2026, finishing as a consensus five-star (No. 8–11) and Maryland's highest-rated commit since Diamond Stone in 2015; nicknamed "Baby KD" and mentored by Kevin Durant for his jumbo-wing shot-making and length (Wikipedia, 247Sports, SI). Fluid shooter who attacks closeouts with advanced counters; the swing skills are his upright frame, lateral defense, and strength through contact — a multi-year risk/reward play (SI, 247Sports). |
| 11 | Amari Allen | SG/SF | Alabama | Green Bay, Wisconsin native; returning sophomore who tested the 2026 draft and withdrew on May 27, 2026, saying he wanted a first-round promise (SI). SEC All-Freshman: 11.4 pts/6.9 reb/3.1 ast/1.0 stl on 44.6%/34.1% shooting (SI, 247Sports, BamaHammer). Wisconsin Gatorade POY: 34.1/11.5/8.5/2.6 at Ashwaubenon; elite positional rebounding, connective passing, and scoring versatility are the calling cards, and the combine measurements pushed him toward guard duties — Year 2 keys are playmaking and lateral defense (Yardbarker/SI, BamaHammer). |
| 12 | Colben Landrew | SF | UConn | McComb, Mississippi native out of Wheeler HS (Ga.); consensus five-star, top-25 (247Sports composite No. 21; service ranks vary — Wikipedia's 2027-class listing has Rivals 21/247Sports 26/ESPN 34) (UConn Athletics, Wikipedia). Georgia Gatorade POY and Mr. Georgia Basketball; led Wheeler to back-to-back Class 6A titles with 23.9 pts/6.5 reb/3.2 ast/1.8 stl as a senior (29/12 in the state final); Naismith HS All-America (UConn Athletics, Gatorade). Team USA U18 AmeriCup silver: 11.6 ppg on 52% FG and 43% 3PT, leading the team at 22.0 mpg; Adidas 3SSB first-team All-Circuit (15.4/5.8/2.6) with Game Elite's Palmetto Road title (The UConn Blog, Storrs Central). Former all-state football wide receiver; Pro Insight's Matt McKay calls him "a legitimately elite multilevel shotmaker," and Dan Hurley has cited "early entry NBA ability" (Gatorade, Norwich Bulletin). |
| 13 | JJ Andrews | SF | Arkansas | Full name JaShawn Andrews (mother Janetta + father Shawn); five-star freshman (No. 11–14 depending on service) and Arkansas legacy — his father Shawn Andrews was an NFL All-Pro lineman for the Razorbacks (arkansasrazorbacks.com). Arkansas Gatorade POY; dominated HS ball (31 pts/17 reb per game on 61% shooting) and won Peach Jam MVP with Brad Beal Elite (18.2 pts/5.9 reb/2.1 ast/2.1 stl; 20/6/2 in the title game), his second straight Peach Jam title; 2,201 career points at Little Rock Christian (On3, SI, razorbackers). Known for physicality, rim pressure, a projected 7-foot wingspan, and defensive versatility; the jumper's development is the swing skill (SI). Draft-year note: also appears in early 2028 mocks — actual draft year uncertain. |
| 14 | Dylan Mingo | PG/SG | Baylor | Five-star combo guard (No. 5–9 overall, No. 2 PG/CG) who committed to UNC, decommitted after Hubert Davis's firing, and landed at Baylor alongside his brother Kayden (Wikipedia, Baylor Lariat). MVP of the 2025 NBPA Top 100 Camp (23.8 pts/6.5 reb/6.8 ast); EYBL: 19.3/7.8/2.6/2.3 — but 23% from three, the big swing skill — and an ankle injury cost him most of his senior season (Yardbarker, 247Sports). Big guard with tight handles, feel, and disruptive defense (6'10"+ wingspan); turnover rate is the other concern (CBS/Matt Norlander via Baylor Lariat). Sourced comp from NBA Draft Room: Dejounte Murray. Draft-year note: also appears in early 2028 mocks — actual draft year uncertain. |
| 15 | Jason Crowe Jr. | PG/SG | Missouri | Inglewood native; California's all-time HS scoring leader with 3,682 points (breaking Tounde Yessoufou's record), averaging ~44 per game as a senior; ESPN No. 4, 247Sports No. 5; McDonald's All-American co-MVP (with Caleb Holt) (247Sports, Wikipedia, SI). Led EYBL at 23.6–23.8 ppg; elite, crafty three-level scorer and underrated playmaker; lefty; the questions are his slight frame and inconsistent on-ball defense (247Sports, SI, Yardbarker). Jonathan Givony has used a "Trae Young" comparison; Adam Finkelstein slotted him No. 30 in an early 2027 mock — his floor case if the defense doesn't come (247Sports, CBS). |
| 16 | Cameron Williams | C/PF | Duke | St. Mary's (Phoenix) product; No. 4 overall in the 247Sports 2026 class and the top PF for both ESPN and 247Sports; McDonald's All-American 2026; chose Duke over Texas and Arizona (247Sports, Wikipedia). HS senior: 24.6 pts/12.0 reb/2.9 ast/2.8 blk/1.7 stl; Compton Magic 3SSB: 14.2/8.5/3.3 blk, Defensive MVP (base). Elite length, vertical pop, and fluid mobility with soft interior touch and developing off-the-dribble shooting; very thin at 200 lbs — strength, rebounding consistency, and handling college/NBA physicality are the swing skills (SI, 247Sports). B/R flags a Duke frontcourt logjam with Ngongba and Boumtje Boumtje. |
| 17 | Quentin Coleman | PG/SG | Illinois | Principia (St. Louis) product; committed to Illinois on Apr 3, 2026 after decommitting from Wake Forest (base). Surged from No. 172 to No. 14 on 247Sports; Missouri Gatorade POY, Mr. Show-Me Basketball, MaxPreps first-team All-America, Naismith second-team All-America (base). HS senior: 23.1 pts/6.1 reb/3.9 ast/2.7 stl on 64.9%/50.6%/89.7%; 50 points in the state title game; Iverson Classic MVP (31/12); Peach Jam champion with Brad Beal Elite; Team USA U19 AmeriCup: 11.2 ppg and a tournament-high 11.4 rpg (base). Elite catch-and-shoot stroke with a developing driving game; needs to fill out his frame (HoopsHQ, SI, Fanrecap). |
| 18 | Luigi Suigo | C | Villanova (Italy) | Milan native; withdrew from the 2026 draft after one Adriatic League season with Mega Basket (8.1 pts/5.3 reb/1.1 blk in 18.6 mpg over 16 games) and committed to Villanova (base, Peachtree Hoops). Jonathan Givony: "physical outlier"; his stated goal is "the Italian Wemby," while Kevin O'Connor counters that "becoming the Italian Marc Gasol is a more realistic goal" (The Ringer). Elite rim protection, floor-spacing upside, passing feel, and a 15.0% offensive rebounding rate; lacks the lateral quickness and explosiveness to defend in space (Peachtree Hoops, Hoops Rumors). |
| 19 | Abdou Toure | SF | Arkansas (Guinea/USA) | West Haven, Connecticut native out of Notre Dame HS; consensus five-star, consensus top-15 in 2026 (No. 31 at commitment → top-15; Rivals Industry No. 31, ESPN SC Next 100 No. 31) (On3, ESPN). Represented Guinea at the 2024 U17 World Cup: tournament-leading 23.0 ppg, including a 50-point game tying the event's single-game record, plus 3.6 reb/2.0 ast; coached by his uncle Ibrahima Toure (Wikipedia). Allen Iverson National Player of the Year; Notre Dame's all-time leading scorer (1,981 points); two-time Connecticut Gatorade POY; HS junior: 25.2/6.5/3.3/2.3 on 61.3%/34.3%/74.2%; Adidas 3SSB second-team All-Circuit with BABC (15.7/6.6) (Wikipedia, Yardbarker). 247Sports' Adam Finkelstein: "a powerful athlete on the wing who is an absolute wrecking ball going to the rim.. a violent finisher who can immediately change the momentum of a game with a single dunk" (razorbackers.com). S-tier athlete and elite vertical wing; blocked Tyran Stokes three times at the Nike Hoop Summit (base); RotoWire projects a physical SF/PF role with the jumper as a work in progress. NoCeilings' sourced comp: Jaylen Brown. Committed to Arkansas over Providence and UConn on Oct 3, 2025 — Providence was perceived the favorite down the stretch (ESPN). Draft-year note: also appears in early 2028 mocks — actual draft year uncertain. |

Shelton Henderson says he can win ACC Freshman of the Year, though Malik Reneau's fifth-year return may push him to a bench role early (roundtable.io). Draft-year note: also appears in early 2028 mocks — actual draft year uncertain. |
| 21 | Thomas Haugh | SF/PF | Florida | Senior returnee off the 2025 title team; withdrew from the 2026 draft (announced to ESPN, Apr 21, 2026) after a second-team All-America junior year (Yardbarker; Policy Wire lists third-team — All-America team varies by source): 17.1 pts/6.1 reb/2.1 ast/1.1 stl/1.0 blk on 46% FG and 32.6% 3PT (SI, Gators Wire). Elite motor, high-IQ off-ball scorer (spot-ups, cuts, transition), and impact defender; three-point consistency and on-ball creation are the swing skills to firm up lottery status (SI, The Athletic, Evan Miyakawa). ESPN's 2026 big board had him No. 13; Jeremy Woo slots him No. 7 in the 2027 mock; Hoops HQ's preseason No. 1 Wooden Award candidate; 1,000 career points; reported $4M+ NIL (base). Sourced comp from NBA Draft Room: Keegan Murray. |
| 22 | Alijah Arenas | SG | USC | Son of Gilbert Arenas; No. 10 in the 2025 class whose freshman year was derailed by an April 2025 Cybertruck crash (induced coma, smoke inhalation) and July 2025 torn-meniscus surgery — he missed the first 18 games, debuted Jan 21, and played 14 games: 14.1 pts/2.9 reb/2.1 ast in 27.8 mpg on 34.1% FG and 21.3% 3PT (NBC Sports, 247Sports, RealGM). The flash: a three-game February stretch of 29/24/25, with a career-high 29 vs. Illinois (On3/USC). CIF LA City Section all-time scoring leader (3,002 points); McDonald's All-American 2025; a smooth 6'6" scorer with a 7'0" wingspan and elite secondary moves per base — but needs efficiency and lateral quickness after the lost development year (NBC Sports, RealGM, 247Sports). Withdrew from the 2026 draft to return to USC. |
| 23 | Hugo Yimga-Moukouri | SF/PF | Nanterre 92 (France) | Burly, athletic wing with an NBA-ready frame whose shooting transformed from non-shooter to ~40% from three in Pro A; 2026 French LNB Rising Star and U18 Euro Championship All-Tournament (NBA Big Board, SI, RealGM). ESPN 100 final No. 32 — the sixth-highest-rated recruit in Gonzaga history (behind Holmgren and Suggs); 31.4 ppg as a HS junior at Anacortes (Yardbarker, Wikipedia). Freshman 2025-26: all 30 games (1 start), 8.6 pts/3.1 reb/1.3 ast in 16.8 mpg on 51.8% FG and 35% 3PT, surging to 10.9/4.6/2.1 over his final 16 games; 19 vs. Southern Utah (Nov 17, 2025), 13/8/6/2 in the WCC final vs. Santa Clara, and 17 vs. Kennesaw State in the NCAA first round (SI, SWX, Slipper Still Fits). Long, wiry shot-maker with a strong mid-range game; must become a consistent, higher-volume three-point shooter (29% over his final 20 games) (SI, CBS). Draft-year note: also appears in early 2028 mocks — actual draft year uncertain. |
| 25 | Ivan Kharchenkov | SF | Arizona (Germany/Russia) | Born in Moscow, raised in Germany; debuted for Bayern Munich in Nov 2022 at 16 — the youngest Bundesliga scorer since 1998 — then ~5.0 ppg in 18 games (12.4 mpg) in 2024-25 (Wikipedia, SI). Gold with Germany at the 2024 FIBA U18 EuroBasket: 17.5 pts/5.3 reb/3.8 ast (SI). Hyper-athletic (16 dunks — most among players 6'0" and under), great feel, 40.4% on catch-and-shoot 3s, and defensive playmaking; the sub-6-foot frame caps his ceiling, and scouts want better floater range and strength (SI, Sporting News, ESPN). Draft-year note: also appears in early 2028 mocks — actual draft year uncertain. |
| 29 | Billy Richmond III | SF | Arkansas | Memphis native; withdrew from the 2026 draft and returned for his junior year after a late surge — 20+ in five straight games, SEC All-Defensive 2026 (SI, Yardbarker, Wikipedia). 2025-26: 11.2 pts/4.3 reb/2.0 ast/1.1 stl in 37 games (19 starts) on 56.3% FG, 25.9% 3PT, 78.4% FT (SI, 247Sports). Elite athlete (41" max vert) who finished 73.4% at the rim (127/173), with a 6'8" wingspan, a 5.2% stock rate, and 40% from mid-range (B/R); tied for first in the 3/4-court sprint (3.06s) and went 17/25 in the 3PT star drill at the combine (247Sports, SI). Elite three-level driver with a great second-step gather and 8 free-throw attempts per game; mostly a spot-up/off-handoff player — on-ball creation and 33% three-point shooting are the questions entering his Tennessee junior season (SI, 247Sports/On3, Floor and Ceiling). Draft-year note: also appears in early 2028 mocks — actual draft year uncertain. |
Snake draft, ten clubs, the order in the table above: pick 1.01 leads round 1, the club at 1.10 opens round 2, and the order reverses every round from there. When draft night comes, this page gains the clock and the live pick feed on top of this order.
Until draft night: the Mock Draft Generator runs the 2027, 2028 and 2029 classes today.
